Virtual College Included in "Insider Growth 100" List 2016

Ilkley (UK), November 2016 - The list highlights and showcases the fastest-growing businesses across the Yorkshire region. To achieve a place in the list, companies must have achieved five years of turnover growth. Virtual College is listed in 75th position with an adjusted average annual growth of 25%.

The technology industry is reported to be growing faster than any other across Yorkshire. Virtual College provides online-learning content and training-delivery solutions to almost every sector in the UK, from healthcare, to manufacturing, education, and catering.

Rod Knox, CEO of Virtual College, commented, "We now have over two million online learners and have ambitious plans to reach twenty million learners by 2020."

The Growth 100 list incorporates a diverse range of businesses, from house builders to recruitment firms, with a combined turnover of £6.56bn.

Earlier in the year, Virtual College was included in the “London Stock Exchange's 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain” list as a result of "significantly outperforming their industry peers."
